The Vice President of the Republic of Somaliland, Mr. Mohamed Ali Aw Abdi, today conducted a working visit to the Ministry of Justice of Somaliland, where he was warmly received by the Minister of Justice, the Commander of the Custodial Corps, and the staff of the ministry.
During the visit, the Vice President first officially inaugurated a newly constructed modern building added to the Ministry of Justice by cutting the ribbon.
After the inauguration, the Vice President toured the various departments and offices of the ministry, observing the work and operations carried out by the institution.
The Minister of Justice of Somaliland, Mr. Yoonis Ahmed Yoonis, who spoke at the event, briefed the Vice President on the responsibilities and key activities the ministry performs on behalf of the nation.
Speaking at the occasion, the Vice President of the Republic of Somaliland, Mr. Mohamed Ali Aw Abdi, commended the officials and staff of the Ministry of Justice for their service to the nation. He stated:
"It is a great pleasure for me to be here today at the Ministry of Justice of Somaliland, which carries out important work for our society. Since your ministry has a unique and important role compared to others, I encourage you to double your efforts in serving the nation."
