Somaliland Police Commissioner Brig. Gen. Abdirahman Abdillahi Hassan chaired a high-level security meeting aimed at strengthening nationwide security measures during the Eid al-Adha celebrations.

The meeting brought together senior police commanders and security officials to review plans designed to maintain public safety and ensure Somalilanders celebrate the holiday in a peaceful and secure environment.

During the discussions, officials focused on enhancing security operations, increasing police readiness, and coordinating efforts to prevent any threats that could disrupt the Eid festivities.

Deputy Police Commander Brig. Gen. Abdi Ahmed Tiir also attended the meeting, alongside other senior officers of the Somaliland Police Force.

The Somaliland Police leadership reaffirmed its commitment to safeguarding citizens and maintaining stability across the country throughout the Eid holiday period.
