The President of the Republic of Somaliland, Mr. Abdirahman Mohamed Abdullahi (Cirro), hosted an Iftar meeting at the Presidential Palace with Ugaas Abdirashid Ugaas Rooble Ugaas Doodi.

The meeting, which the President was accompanied by the Minister of Interior and National Security, Mr. Abdalle Mohamed Arab, took place in an atmosphere of mutual respect and understanding. The discussions focused on strengthening peace, security, and social unity in the regions of Awdal and Selel.

During the meeting, the President and the traditional leader discussed the important role that traditional leadership plays in maintaining stability and promoting peaceful coexistence within society.

The President commended the Ugaas for the significant contribution of traditional leaders in maintaining peace and social cohesion, noting that the government is always ready to work closely with traditional authorities.

For his part, the Ugaas thanked the President for the meeting and reaffirmed his commitment to further strengthening peace, unity, and harmonious coexistence among the people of the Republic of Somaliland.
