President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud participated in the World Economic....

1- President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud and Egyptian President Abdul Fattah Al-Sisi held crucial talks in Cairo, signing an agreement to strengthen strategic cooperation between the two countries.

2- President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud and President Abdul Fattah Al-Sisi witnessed the signing of an agreement between the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of Somalia and Egypt regarding the exemption of entry into the country from the diplomatic passport of the Federal Republic of Somalia, in order to promote cooperation between the two countries.


3- President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud participated in the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, and addressed the conference on the country's economic growth and investment development plans and opportunities in Somalia.

4- President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud held talks in Davos with the leader of the Supreme Council of Libya Mr. Mohamed Al Menfi and the Prime Minister of Malaysia Mr. Anwar Ibrahim.

5- President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud was awarded the African Leadership Award by Africa House, at an event held in Davos, Switzerland.

6- Hassan Sheikh Mohamud urge national forces commanders to accelerate the fight against the Kharijites Al Shabab.
7- Prime Minister Hamsa Abdi Barre has inaugurated a new state of the art Emergency Center of the De Martino Hospital in Mogadishu funded by the Qatari Government.

8- Prime Minister Hamsa Abdi Barre visited the headquarters of the Independent Commission for Elections and Borders.

9- Prime Minister Hamsa Abdi Barre has officially launched the SIPS (Somali Instant Payment System).
10- Prime Minister Hamse Abdi Barre held talks with the Minister of the Interior of Finland, Ms Mari Rantanen, who visited the country.

11- The Cabinet of the Federal Repuiblic of Somalia has approved the renewal of the term of office of the Board of Directors of the National Disability Commission.

12- . The Deputy Prime Minister of Somalia Mr. Salah Ahmed Jama visited the Ministries of Education & Higher Education, Youth & Sports and the Disaster Management Agency (SoDMA).

13- The Deputy Prime Minister of Somalia Mr. Salah Ahmed Jama visited the National Institute of Security Studies, where the third batch of students in graduating this year since its establishment.

14- The Chairman of the Supreme Court of Bashe Yusuf Ahmed and the Attorney General Dr. Suleiman Mohamed Mohamud presided over the annual meeting of the High Committee of the Somali Judicial Training Institute.

15- The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Somalia, Ambassador Ahmed Macallin Fiqi, held separate meetings with his counterparts from Rwanda and Algeria in New York.

16- The National Security and Intelligence Agency said it is closely monitoring the financial activities of the Kharijites Al-Shabaab group, while the government has warned businessmen, brokers and drivers to avoid collaboration and financing terrorism.

17- The Minister of Foreign Affairs Ambassador Ahmed Maallin Fiqi Ahmed met Mr. Zénon Ngay Mukongo Permanent Representative of the Democratic Republic of the Congo to the United Nations.

18- Minister of Information H.E. Daud Aweis Jama congratulated the Somali nation on the Somali Media Day and the commemoration of the first publication of a Somali language newspaper on January 21, 1973.

19- The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Ahmed Moalim Fiqi Ahmed, addressed a UN Security Council meeting, number 9841 held in New York.

20- The Minister of Defense of Somalia Mr. Abduqadir Mohamed Nurr has attended the closing ceremony of Somali National Army forces training held in Qatar.

21- The Minister of Justice and Constitutional Affairs, Mr Hassan Moalim Mohamud met with women's organizations and othe civil society groups in Mogadishu.

22- The Chairman of the Independent Commission for National Elections & Borders, Abdikarin Ahmed Hassan has announced the commencement of political parties registration process.

23- The Auditor General of the State, Attorney Ahmed Isse Gutale participated in the launch of the 2025 Government Budget, praising the increase in this year's budget.

24- The Minister of Interior, Federal and Reconciliation of Somalia Mr. Ali Yusuf (Ali Hoosh) has visited the capital of Hirshabelle State in Jowhar, while participating the cabinet meeting of the state.

25- The Ministry of Planning and Economic Development held a meeting to review the projects funded by the German Government and implemented by KfW Development Bank and GIZ.

26- The Minister of Family and Development of Human Rights Mrs. Khadija Mohamed Al-Makhzoumi had a meeting with the Special Envoy of the African Union for Somalia, Ambassador Mohamed El-Amine Souef.
27- The Minister of Justice and Constitution Mr. Hassan Moalim Mohamud received the African Union Representative in Somalia Ambassador Mohamed El-Amine Souef in Mogadishu.

28- The Governor of Banadir Region and the Mayor of Mogadishu, Mr. Mohamed Ahmed Amir, laid the foundation stone for the new building of the Medicine Storage Center for Banadir Region.

29- The President of Hirshabelle State, Ali Abdullahi Hussein, has closed a training for the 2nd batch of Hirshabelle Darwish forces who are going to be part of Hirshabelle Police.

30- The Finance Minister Bihi Iman Ige participated in an event to launch the 2025 Government Budget.
31- The Minister of Agriculture Mohamed Abdi Hayir attended a conference on the development of agriculture in Berlin, Germany.

32- The Minister of Family and Development of Human Rights Mrs. Khadija Mohamed Al-Makhzoumi has held a consultation meeting with various sectors of civil society organizations.

33- The Ministry of Commerce of Somalia has warned businessmen against dealing with terrorists.
34- The Somali National Army and the local forces conducted an operation in Bardere area of Hiraan region and captured a military van carrying military logistics for the Kharijites terrorist group of Al Shabab.

35- The Somali Coast Guard Command and the SANTA MARIA F-81 warship of the European Union held a joint training related to the protection of maritime laws on the coast of Somalia.

36- A senior member of the Kharijites terrorist group Mirre Aghdher and two other members of the group killed in the village of Eel Garas in Galgaduud Region, following an operation carried out by the civil defence forces in the area.
