Me ( Abdi-Shotaly) Imperils Nation's Future.
In the heart of Somaliland, a nation with a rich history and vibrant traditions, a pressing narrative unfolds—one that deeply concerns its citizens. A proverbial fire has ignited, they say, and we fear that it might rage out of control. The core issue at hand is the value we place on the blood of our fellow citizens, and this issue is tearing at the very fabric of our society.
On one side, we grieve for lives lost at the hands of our own police force. On the other, rebels in the Gacan Libaax Mountains rise against what they perceive as injustice. The very essence of human life has become a central point of contention in our land.
But, there is one unshakable truth that binds us all: every life, every drop of blood, carries immense value. In a world where compassion and justice should reign supreme, we find ourselves struggling against a wave of double standards and an unsettling presence of injustice.
Somaliland, a land defined by its history and traditions, now finds itself at a crossroads. Injustice within our borders has given birth to rebellion in the formidable Gacan Libaax Mountains. It's a silent cry for justice, a plea to rise above our differences and unite for a common cause.
However, this is no ordinary struggle. It's a battle for the very soul and future of Somaliland. Echoes from our past remind us of the days when the Somali dictatorship regime was overthrown by the SNM in 1991. The injustices we face today threaten to reignite the flames of crisis.
In these tumultuous times, heroes have emerged from the Gacan Libaax Mountains—brave souls who embody the collective spirit of a nation yearning for a brighter future. They dared to challenge the oppressive shadow of dictatorship and laid the groundwork for a historic political partnership, championed by cultural leaders from the Habr Awal and Habr Je'lo clans.
Their unwavering courage, determination, and resolve have shaken the foundations of those who sought to oppress them. Muse Bihi's regime, in their pursuit to capture these heroes, encountered an indomitable spirit that defied all odds. These heroes remind us that injustice will not have the last word in Somaliland.
Yet, in the current political landscape, the alliance between the Habr Awal and Habr Je'lo clans, known as the Jeegaan political movement, has deepened divisions among our people. Tribalism runs rampant, and our unity is threatened by discord. Social media platforms have become arenas of verbal warfare, with fellow citizens hurling insults and accusations at one another.
Injustice has also contributed to Somaliland's military defeat at the hands of the SSC forces. We hold Muse Bihi's regime accountable for this severe military setback. The cost of their actions looms large.
Following Muse Bihi's dictatorial policies, the SSC forces swiftly overran Somaliland's army, capturing significant weaponry and taking hundreds of Somaliland soldiers as prisoners of war. This is the harsh consequence of electing the Jeegaan political movement.
We, concerned citizens of Somaliland, issue this urgent appeal to our fellow countrymen and women. Our nation is at a crossroads, and we cannot allow tribal divisions and injustice to further divide us. We must find common ground and unite for the greater good of Somaliland.
Our story is one of courage, resilience, and an unwavering commitment to justice. Together, we can overcome these challenges and pave the way for a brighter future for all Somalilanders. It is our sincere hope that truth, unity, and justice will prevail in our beloved land.
