1- President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud wrapped up the Holy Quran Competition for the Holy Month of Ramadan, and presented cash prizes to the winners of the competition.

2- President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud attended the 43rd Extraordinary Summit of Heads of State and Government, which discussed the situation in the Republic of South Sudan.

3- President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud spoke by phone with South Sudanese President Salva Kiir Mayardit and his Vice President Riek Machar, discussing the security situation in the country, and calling on both sides to return to the negotiating table.

4- President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud has returned to the country after a working trip to the United Arab Emirates, where he held meetings with the country's leaders.

5- President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud welcomed at Mogadishu Airport soldiers who were injured in the ongoing operations against the Kharijites Al Shabab in the country.

21- The President of the Hirshabelle State, Mr. Ali Abdullahi Hussein, has condemned the cowardly attack carried out by the Khawarij on the Cairo Hotel in the town of Beled Weyne.

22- The Governor of Banadir Region and Mayor of Mogadishu, Mohamed Ahmed Amiir, held a meeting with the committee responsible for managing and improving water catchments and drainage systems in Mogadishu, to prepare for the upcoming rainy season.

23- The Minister of Public Works, Dr. Elmi Mahmoud Nur, and the Head of UNOPS Somalia signed an agreement on the study and design of infrastructure in the towns of Beledweyne and Dhusamareb as part of the Nagaad Project.

24- The Minister of Endowments and Islamic Affairs, Sheikh Mukhtar Robow, along with some Somali scholars, held a press conference in Mogadishu and discussed the country's efforts to eradicate the Kharijites Al Shabab.

25- Defense Minister Abdulqadir Mohamed Nur said that the Somali Air Force plays a crucial role in the airstrike’s operations against Kharijites Al Shabab.

26- The National Security and Intelligence Agency (NISA) announced that operations in the Middle Shabelle region led to the death of Yusuf Dhegnaas, a notable leader within the Kharijite groups, along with 20 of his militia members who were with him.

27- Hirshabelle State President Ali Abdullahi Hussein held a telephone call discussion with the the US Ambassador to Somalia.

28- Finance Minister Bihi Iman Ige held a consultation meeting with the Finance Committee of the House of People and Somali Islamic scholars. The meeting discussed harmonizing the country's financial institutions regulations with the principles of Islamic Sharia and the interests of the Somali nation.

29- The Somali Ambassador to Turkey, Fatxudiin Ali Ospite, presented his non-resident credentials to the President of Georgia, His Excellency Mikheil Kavelashvili.

30- The National Intelligence Agency (NISA) has announced the elimination of two senior Kharijites members in Lower Shabelle Region through a well coordinated air strike. The two are: Farhan Osman Hassan, known as Jafar Karur, the head of the Kharijites in charge of bombings in Mogadishu and Lower Shabelle regions, and the second one being Ahmed Gumar, head of finance of the terror group in Lower Shabelle.

31- The Minister of Planning, Investment and Economic Development Mahmoud Abdirahman Sheikh Farah (Beenebeene), met with the Director of Development at the British Embassy, Chris Pycroft.

32- Finance Minister Bihi Iman Ige met with the Director of the British Embassy's International Development Agency, Dr. Christopher Pycroft.

33- The National Intelligence Agency (NISA) carried out a successful offensive that resulted the elimination of Kharijites militants in Middle Shabelle region.

34- The Minister of Family and Human Rights Development, Ms. Khadija Mohamed Al-Makhzoumi, attended the opening of the 69th session of the International Conference on the Status of Women, held in New York City.

35- Minister of Interior Ali Yusuf Hosh has inaugurated the Election Awareness Gathering, noting that the focus will be on raising public awareness about the one-person, one-vote electoral process.

36- The Independent National Electoral and Boundaries Commission has registered the Somali Union Organization, as part of the process of registering political organizations in the country.

37- The President of HirShabelle State, Ali Abdullahi Hussein, and the Turkish Ambassador to Somalia, Ambassador Alper Aktas, held a telephone conversation.

38- The National Intelligence and Security Agency (NISA) forces, in collaboration with international partners, have destroyed an artificial bridge used by the Kharijites Al Shabab fighters in the Middle Shabelle region.
