This hostility stems from the pivotal role played by the Isaaq in overthrowing Somalia's fascist dictator, who belonged to the Darod clan—of which Mustafe Cagjar's Ogaden clan is a part.

Now in power, Mustafe Cagjar appears to be using Ethiopian state resources to exact revenge for these historical grievances. Reports indicate that he has weaponized the Somali region's special police force, deploying them against the Isaaq communities in what appears to be a personal vendetta disguised as governance. This misuse of state machinery not only exposes his bias but also risks further destabilizing an already fragile region.
Somaliland government should ignore the existence of so-called government in somali region of ethiopia being behaved like wild & jungle law.We recognize the so-called government in somali in somali region as armed gangs.Hence, Somaliland should deal directly to ethiopia federal government as the so-called government of somali region of ethiopia has slaughtered tens of innocent civilians in the region. As trust is like a glue, we can't trust anymore the so-called government in somali region of ethiopia being labelled civilian murders. Trust is like mirror once broken can't be repaired. The so-called police in somali region behaved like savages. They are affected hatred and jealousy against the somalis in the region that originates from issaq origin. We harbored thousands of ogaden origin in our cities and towns before liberating somaliland from brutal regime. The slaughter for innocent civilians reminds us of the issaq genocide committed by cold blooded regime in former somalia. This reminds us, the government at war with its people. This is barbaric behaviour. This is criminal behaviour.
Ethiopia earns almost 700 million dollars yearly with is qat trade with somaliland while the so-called police in somali region of ethiopia have slaughtered tens of innocent civilians in the region. Hence, the government of ethiopia can't enjoy this luxury business anymore unless they have taken serious steps against the culprits who massacred innocent civilians in the region. We should act urgently to bite ethiopia poor economy strongly.
Somaliland people have condemned in very loud and strong language the genocide committed by the barbaric regime in somali region of ethiopia. The killing of innocent civilians in the region is based on hatred. This is an ogaden old enmity against the issaqis in the region. This is revival for ogaden hatred against the issaqis .
